Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a stylized belt bearing a raised inscription of 22 OCTOBER 1861, with central monograms of Kaiser Wilhelm I and Augusta of Saxe Weimar Eisenach, topped by a royal crown, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but exclusively manufactured by S. Friedberg Shne, Berlin, measuring 34.
