She was in the first Bayreuth Festival in 1876, later on greatly helped make Wagners operas popular outside Germany. Great cabinet photo double signed by her (on front and verso), showing her as Brunnhilde in Die Walkure, one of her most celebrated roles, dated by her in 1896.
