Type III (1926 1929) Of local manufacture, two piece insignia in silver, the centrepiece illustrating the Kingdom of Afghanistan coat of arms, surrounded by an inscription in Arabic, mounted to a blackened magnetic metal base with multi rayed arms consisting of three wide pointed ends alternating with another three sharp pointed ends, measuring 71. 5 mm (w) x 70. 8 mm (h), vertical pinback, scattered blackening
