A Rupert cross constructed of bronze gilt with red and green enamels, the obverse centre bears a gilded Lion of Judah bordered with red enamel with gilt inscription Geez: Moa Anbasa Z. Y. (an abbreviation for Moa Anbessa Zemene Gede Yehuda, meaning The Lion of the Tribe of Judah hath conquered), the reverse centre is inscribed, measuring 41. 4 mm (w) x 46. 71 mm (h), with crown suspension on yellow ribbon
