The Grner Veltliner vines here are over 80 years old and are planted on a soil of loess over slate in a cool, breezy meso climate. The fruit was hand picked, crushed and macerated for 12 hours, then cold settled for 48 hours. Wild yeast fermented for 8 weeks in stainless steel, then matured over winter on fine lees.
