A red enamelled eight pointed Maltese cross, constructed of Gold, with gold Russian double headed imperial eagles between its arms, in addition to semi circles of gold rays between each points of the arms of the cross, with a central medallion bearing the letters SS in red paint on a white enamelled background, surrounded by a green enamel laurel wreath, the reverse shows plain Gold arms as well as a white enamelled
