Germany, Third Reich. A Rare Postschutz Official’s Dagger, By Paul Weyersberg & Co. Newly Listed (Erinnerungskreuz für 1866) Instituted 20(Postschutz Dolch). A rare and extremely well preserved Postschutz Officials dagger, measuring 39 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 24. 5 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and edges. The blade is plain with the exception of a makers mark on the reverse ricasso of PAUL WEYERSBERG & CO., SOLINGEN, circumscribing the firms classic wreathed sword logo. It sits securely within a nickel silver
