Germany, Ss. A Model 1933 Service Dagger, By J.a. Schmidt & Söhne consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac a Saxon War Merit Cross(SS Dienstdolch M33). A well preserved SS Model 1933 Service Dagger, measuring 37 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 22 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel dagger with a sharpened tip and lower edge. Acid etched onto the obverse of the blade is an inscription of MEINE EHRE HEIT TREUE (MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY) in Fraktur script. The reverse ricasso bears a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) insignia, situated about a maker code of
