Germany, Federal Republic. A Kriegsmarine High Seas Fleet Badge, Alternative 1957 Version Hold Instituted 1928(Kriegsmarine Flottenkriegsabzeichen). Consisting of a gilded and silvered tombac oval wreath of oak leaves, and with ribbons tied on the bottom, with a frontal view of a German battleship cutting through the waves; plain reverse; with a vertical pinback, a barrel hinge, and a flat wire catch; measuring 44. 45 mm (w) x 53. 25 mm (h); weighing 38. 3 grams; in mint condition.
