A 1St Independent Parachute Brigade Group Arnhem Medal, Gold Grade Archive "Holy Military Order of StIn bronze gilt, obverse illustrating the left facing bust of the crowned Polish eagle and maker marked "SPINK LONDON", reverse illustrating a stylized figure of a man attached to an open parachute, flanked by "ARNHEM" at the left and "DRIEL" on the right, surrounded by the inscription "1 SAMODZIELNA BRYGADA SPADOCHRONOWA 18 26 IX 1944", measuring 39. 8 mm in diameter, spotting, scattered gilt wear, original ribbon, very fine. Footnote: The 1st
