A grouping of three medals, including a Hesse Darmstadt Silver Bravery Medal, a round silver medal, the obverse depicting the leftward facing head of Grand Duke Ludwig III, circumscribed by his name and title, the reverse inscribed FR TAPFERKEIT (For Bravery) within a laurel and oak wreath, on a loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, measuring 33. 36 mm in diameter, light contact marks, in overall very fine
