Germany, Imperial. A 1914 Iron Cross I Class Newly Listed then transferred to the 12th(Eisernes Kreuz 1914 I. Klasse). Reinstituted on 5 August 1914 by Kaiser Wilhelm II. (1914 1918 issue). A Cross Patte of multi piece construction, with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver border, the obverse with a raised central mobile swastika with the reinstitution date 1914 in raised numbering on the lower arm, with the re institution date 1914 in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm the reverse
