A Bravery Medal, I Class Auction Archive It was previously changed asSilver medal, bearing DER TAPFERKEIT (Translation: For Bravery), with older style Stielhenkelose suspension, surrounded by a laurel wreath on obverse, reverse bearing bust of Franz Joseph I and stamped LEISEK, 40. 77mm (w) x 46. 29mm (h) (to top of ring suspension) and weighing at 21. 1 grams, original ribbon, in extremely fine condition. Excellent example with fine toning.
