Germany, Luftwaffe. A Luftwaffe Officer’s Visor Cap By Wilhem Holters. Archive the Order of Charles III(Luftwaffe Einheitsmtze). This is a well preserved Luftwaffe (Air Force) officers visor cap, constructed of smooth dark grey wool with a black woven ribbon cap band. The cap features three bands of woven, silver Waffenfarbe piping at the top, middle, and bottom. Pinned into the peak is a silvered and blackened aluminum cockade with red felt centre, measuring 22 mm in diameter. The cap band features an aluminum German national eagle clutching a
