Germany, Heer. An Army Marksmanship Lanyard Archive stating that he had eight(Schtzen Abzeichen des deutschen Heeres). Instituted on 29 June 1936. New Pattern Plaque. The lanyard is constructed of semi bright aluminum cord plaited with a flat portion bearing an alloy metal plaque, measuring 38 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), featuring shields bearing crossed swords and the Wehrmacht style eagle on a wreath of oak leaves (matte aluminum symbolized troops of armoured units), over a black wool backer, attached to a thick silver aluminum
