Constructed of bronzed zinc, obverse depicts central oval laurel wreath bearing submarine above crossed swords, German national eagle clutching mobile swastika on top of wreath, flanked on each side by six oak leaves, reverse designer marked Entwurf Peekhaus and maker marked Ausf Schwerin, Berlin 68, measuring 76. 35 mm (w) x 23. 87 mm (h), weighing 18. 1 grams, with replacement pin, and in good condition.
