A silver Latin cross with black and white enameled arms, the obverse with a red enameled Geneva cross on a white field, surrounded by a black ring of enamels, inscribed ORDO TEUT HUMANITATI in capital lettering, the reverse with a similar white field, dated 1871, surrounded by a ring of black enamels, maker mark stamped on eyelet, on a loop for suspension from its period
