Germany, Luftwaffe. An Observer Badge, By F.w. Assmann & Söhne Auction a SA member book(Beobachterabzeichen). Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, with dual visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, maker marked with the logo of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, measuring 52. 14 mm
