Germany, Third Reich. A 1942 Tirol Gau Champion Marksmanship Badge With Oak Leaves United Republic of reverse marked AM 925 S(Tiroler Schtzenabzeichen mit Eichenlaub). Constructed of gilded tombak with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a green enameled oak leaf wreath, with a central red enameled Tirol eagle clutching a target overlaid with a mobile swastika, flanked by a date of 1942, above an inscription of WEHRMANN the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 51. 19 mm in diameter, weighing 26. 5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
