Senegal. An Order Of The Lion, Knight, C.1965 Auction circa 1925-35Instituted October 22, 1960. In silver, a white enamel five point star with ball finials, with five double ended smooth rays in each quadrant, the obverse presents a silver field with an embossed lion and star, surrounded by a red enamel ring with the inscription REPUBLIQUE DU SENEGAL UN PEUPLE UN BUT UNE FOI, reverse presents an enamelled Senegal flag surrounded by a wreath, reverse is otherwise plain, suspended from crossed palm leaves on the ring,
