Constructed of bronze feinzink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central raised War Merit Cross, the reverse with an inscription of FR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939 (FOR WAR MERIT 1939), unmarked, measuring 32. 35 mm in diameter, weighing 17. 3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
