Germany, Imperial. A 1903 Imperial Artillery Badge, C.1905 Auction Archive Picture 5: “Sappers crossing the(Kaiserabzeichen der Artillerie). Instituted 27 January 1895. (1903 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, with central crossed cannons above a date of 1903, the reverse missing all attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 53 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
