The title was developed for arcade and for Sega's own console, Saturn. After the success of the first Virtua Fighter game in 1993, Sega kept creating new games, and Kids was the latest development. It was extremely popular, both in arcades and at home with their little plush toy dolls they sold to advertise the game. For the most part, though, it was very similar to the other games in the
