The band incorporated elements of 50s rock n roll, science fiction, and horror films to create something all their own, a style that was theatrically indebted to the past while being completely new. In their original run, the band released two LPs and a number of singles with a constantly changing lineup. The Misfits were also well known for their self run fan club they dubbed
