Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central Frankfurt style eagle, with an inscription of XXV JAHRE TREUE DIENSTE, the reverse with a central date of 1840, unmarked, measuring 26. 31 mm (w) x 30. 06 mm (h), in very fine condition.
