A textbook example of a Silver Grade Infantry Assault Badge by Friedrich Linden of Ldenscheid. (Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber). Silver Grade instituted on December 20th 1939. (1939 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a slightly vaulted oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer style German national eagle
