Un Ballo in Maschera - Naples 1859 Libretto recently_added shown as Peleas in PelleasFirst edition libretto for a performance in Naples of Un Ballo In Maschera, in the same year or its world premiere in Rome (1859). The opera was just premiered after a long, complicated fight with the censors, and the action had to be moved to Boston instead of Europe, and the Naples premiere followed soon after the Rome world premiere. Libretto has no covers but is otherwise complete, 4. 25 x 6. 75 inches, in very good condition.
