Vintage 1950s Murano Blue and Amethyst Apple & Pear Bookends Living Green A delightful handmade and handThis pair of mid century blue and amethyst apple and pear bookends were made by the master craftsman Alfredo Barbini. To protect Venice from fires, Venetian artisans moved their glass blowing to Murano, a lagoon surrounded island that since the 13th century continues as the center of Venetian glass making.
