German Aircraft Reporting Service Badge Auction Naming is officially engraved inGerman Aircraft Reporting Service Membership Badge (Flugmeldedienst); in bronze and enamels, 27mm, numbered and maker marked, in extremely fine condition. The German Aircraft Reporting Service was formed in 1932 and transferred to Luftwaffe control in 1939. It function was to report enemy aircraft movements, as observed from the ground. Mostly women served in the Flugmeldedienst.
