A well preserved, second pattern Luftwaffe Officers dagger, measuring 430 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 265 mm long polished magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and semi sharpened edges. The blade presents plain with the exception of a makers mark on the reverse ricasso of ORIGINAL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN, circumscribing the firms classic logo of a squirrel clutching a sword. It sits
