Machine woven embroidered cotton SS runes on black velvety backing,with standard buckram backing; with two threads running vertically on reverse, RZM tagged on the reverse, stand written 118 and numbered No. 202916, measuring 39. 76 mm (w) x 52. 62 mm (h), mint. These early tabs circa 1940 with "A" prefix and hand written number were worn exclusively by the members of the "Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler". Very scarce.
