The band started in 1987 after Milo Aukerman left the Descendents, and so the three remaining members Stephen Egerton, Karl Alvarez, and Bill Stevenson started over with a new singer. At first it was Dave Smalley, but he was soon replaced by Scott Reynolds. After years of committing themselves to the band and living non ideal situations, they decided to move to Missouri.
