Germany, Imperial. A Prussian Pilot’s Badge Archive the obverse presents the gilt(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom with a bow tie ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, around a central depiction of a monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, the reverse of the crown bearing a silver content number of 935, otherwise unmarked, measuring 44.
