Germany, Ss. A Rare Waffen-Ss Officer’s Visor Cap Totenkopf, Collar Tab Cutoff Example United Republic of dated 30 March 1935(Waffen SS Mtzenabzeichen). Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a hand embroidered silver aluminum wire SS style Totenkopf, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), a classic example of a visor cap insignia converted from a collar tab, in uniform removed and near extremely fine condition.
