United Kingdom. A Royal Guelphic Order, Knight with Swords, in Gold, c.1810 United Republic of both constructed of aluminum(Guelphen Orden). Military Division. Instituted 1815. An exquisite Knight's cross, in GOLD and enamels, comprising at Maltese cross with ball finials, with lions in each quadrants, the obverse medallion in multicoloured enamels presents a very finely executed white horse on a red field surrounded by a blue ring inscribed NEC ASPERA TERRENT, the reverse medallion presenting the crowned royal initials surrounded by the institution date, the cross is
