Sweden, Kingdom. A Svea Life Guards Pickelhaube, c. 1914 Auction Archive 4 mm (w) x 46A Swedish Pickelhaube constructed of a dark leather shell with brass detailing. The crown features a brass spike measuring 12 cm in length, fastened to the helmet at the three, six, nine, and twelve oclock positions by four star shaped rivets. A brass bar extends from the top of the crown along the back of the baseplate to the leather neck guard. Fastened to the peak of the helmet with two rivets is a brass plate bearing the national emblem of Sweden,
