Il Censo Terre Siciliane Rosso Perricone Njuro 2019 Region:Sicily with loads of deep blackberryGaetano and Nicoletta Gargano owned a large, polycultural farm in Sicily that had stopped producing much of anything, but when their good friend (and famous winemaker) Giampiero Bea's inspiration and guidance, they turned a dilapidated vineyard into a Sicilian gem, featuring the rare and charismatic Perricone grape. The nose begins with inky black plum, smoky tar soil, graham and blackberry and blueberry, with a whiff of amaretto whipped cream. The
