Constructed of silvered magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval disc overlaid by a pair of skis, in turn defaced by an edelweiss bearing an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of REICHS MANNSCHAFTS KMPFE IM SCHILAUF 1935 36, the reverse bearing an engraved inscription of 3. SIEGER KL. C. indicating a third place finish in an event, measuring 60 mm (w) x 83 mm
