A Saxe-Ernestine House Order, Merit Medal With 1914/17 Clasp Auction circumscribed by a Russian Cyrillic(Silberne Verdienstmedaille des Herzoglich Sachsen Ernestinischen Hausordens mit Schwerterspange 1914 7). Instituted 25 March 1833 by Dukes Friedrich of Saxe Altenburg, Ernst I of Saxe Coburg & Gotha, and Bernhard II of Saxe Meiningen. (1917 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribboned fastened with a 1914 7 sword clasp, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward facing profile of Duke Carl Eduard of Saxe
