An unusual multiple rayed eight pointed star constructed of silver gilt, with obverse displaying a period Spanish coat of arms in silver, on an enameled red background, surmounted by period imperial crown and lace in silver, reverse with button hole for attachment, measuring 21. 86 mm (w) x 21. 51 mm (h), minor loss of gilt and toned silver, extremely fine.
