A First War Trench Art Ring Newly Listed A Third Reich period Italian-GermanIn silvered iron, magnetic, 18 mm (w) x 15 mm (h) face plate in high relief and illustrating a map of modern day Slovenia, near the border with Italy, inscribed "2 MARON" at the upper left, "BRESTOVICA" on a mountain at the right and "DOBERDO" across the forks of the rivers below, the finger hole diameter measuring 17. 3 mm, the ring itself measuring 25. 5 mm (w) x 25 mm (d) x 15. 3 mm (h), near extremely fine.
