This block has been planted with a selection of the Dijon clones, which are part of a small group of unique clones that were identified, isolated and propagated by University of Dijon researcher Dr Raymond Bernard from the best performing, highest pedigree Pinot vineyards in Burgundy clones 114, 115, and 777. These clones have been attributed with producing wines of excellent aroma,
