Schaumburg-Lippe, Principality. A 1914 Faithful Service Cross, C.1914 certificate_of_authenticity and attached on ribbon as(Kreuz fr Treue Dienste 1914). Instituted 18 November 1914 by Prince Adolph. (1914 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with a central monogram of Prince Adolph, the arms bearing an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE 1914 (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE 1914), unmarked, measuring 36. 47 mm (w) x 40. 56 mm (h), weighing 16. 4 grams, in extremely fine condition.
