In silver gilt with dark green enamels, French made, measuring 41 mm (w) x 59 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath and laterally pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, large rosette on its original ribbon, extremely fine. Footnote: The National Order was instituted on July 24, 1961, in five grades: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
