Its grand opening featured flower petals falling from the ceiling, welcoming guests into a world of luxury and entertainment. After financial struggles, the original Aladdin closed in 1997 and was demolished in 1998. A new Aladdin resort opened on the same site in 2000, but it too faced challenges and was eventually rebranded as Planet
