Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamel, the obverse consisting of a black enameled oval border with silvered floral designs, surrounding a central raised German national eagle overlaid by a coat of arms and with feathering highlighted in silver, the reverse with a clip hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
