Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing the raised profiles of Otto von Bismack, Albrecht von Roon, and Helmuth von Moltke, circumscribed by names and dates 1870 1930, the reverse bearing a raised depiction of a German eagle trampling a French rooster, circumscribed by inscriptions of OMNIA PRO GLORIA PATRIAE (EVERYTHING FOR THE GLORY OF THE FATHERLAND) and IN MEMORIAM SEDAN II. IX. MDCCCLXX, the
