Nepenthes vieillardii is the easternmost growing Nepenthes species from the island of New Caledonia

Nepenthes truncata "JB" comes from the collection of the late Jim Bockowski and has produced pitchers 19 inches tall while our truncata (d) is from Exotica's red flush line and produces huge pitchers with elaborately flared peristomes

We expect this cross to be stunning with elaborate peristomes and good color. The female parent is cultivar veitchii 'Jim Bockowski' and the male parent is an exceptionally large clone of spathulata x truncata from Exotica Plants.
