In silver, obverse centre medallion shows the right facing image of Saint George on horseback slaying the dragon, reverse of the two lateral arms of the cross bears the serial number of the award 560745, reverse centre medallion shows cipher of Saint George, 41. 1 mm (h) x 34. 3 mm (w), fine condition. Footnote: The Cross of St. George award was instituted on 26 November 1807. The award was intended as a reward for undaunted
