Russia, Imperial. A St. George Cross, IV Class, to Alexei Romanovich Plenkin United Republic of 982 of them posthumously( 4 ). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse bearing a central depiction of St. George slaying a dragon, the reverse bearing a central Cyrillic monogram of St. George ( SG), the six oclock arm bearing a grade of 4 (IV CLASS), the three and nine oclock arms bearing an award number of 436445, unmarked, measuring 34. 40 mm (w) x 40. 96 mm (h), weighing 10. 4 grams, demonstrating sporadic nicks to the base
